Our team

Penny Green is the founder and principal physiotherapist at Physiotherapy Junior.

She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1998, graduating on the Dean’s Honours List, and subsequently a Masters of Physiotherapy (in Paediatrics) at the University of Melbourne in 2002. She has been working in paediatrics since 2000, starting at the Royal Children’s Hospital in the paediatric training program and since then in many varied roles across the paediatric health sector.

Penny has maintained her clinical skills with extensive professional development and now combines her work with Physiotherapy Junior with her other role as mother to 3 children. She is the academic clinician at La Trobe University, teaching paediatrics to physiotherapy students, and has been a representative on advisory committees to improve the quality of care and outcomes for children in Victoria, and is a consultant physiotherapist at a leading Melbourne private hospital. She is committed to maintaining an awareness of the best and newest research and sharing that information with the children and families that she sees.

Penny loves children and finding ways to engage and motivate them is her skill. Her passion is to optimise the opportunities of all children so they are able to achieve their potential, and particularly to be able to participate and reach their goals in their recreational and sporting interests.

Melissa Conway is the office manager and organiser of the practice! She keeps everything running smoothly! You’ll find Melissa’s friendly voice and helpful manner on the phone when you call 0432 494 423.

Physiotherapy Junior has established clinical and professional relationships with paediatric specialists, health services and other agencies that may be involved in your child’s care. We understand how confusing the health system can be, and do our best to help you navigate and advocate the best outcomes for your child
